At Vertical Blind Spares we can supply quality completed made to measure Vertical Blind Slats, Replacement Vertical Blinds Slats and Vertical Blind Headrails.
We also supply most Vertical Blind Spares with worldwide delivery.
What Width is the Louvre Slats?
There are two standard width's used in the blinds industry and that is. 89mm (3.5") and 127mm (5")
The 89 mm being the most popular and what we supply a lot of to customers. We can supply you with
either width of Slat being 89 mm or 127 mm in your chosen fabric Vertical Blind Slats.
All our made to measure Vertical Blind Slats are delivered complete and ready to hang up.
Are the Textile Fabrics Glued or Sewn?
All our fabrics are SEWN. We simply do not glue fabrics as the glue will perish over prolonged exposure to sunlight which will leave an unsightly dark line across the fabric and they will ultimately come apart.
Do the Fabrics come with new Hangers, Weights and Bottom Link Chain?
YES to ALL. To save you money and time our replacement vertical blind slats come ready to hang.
If you are replacing your old blind slats it is very simple to hang your new Vertical Blinds.
How do I Measure My Slats?
If your replacing your old Blinds with new ones then simply count the old ones and order the appropriate number you require and measuring the width across one. Then measure the length of the slat from the top fabric part of the slat to the bottom. Please do not measure from the top of the pastic hanger as this is included in your new Vertical Blind Slats.
Vertical Blind Headrail and Ordering.
When you order a Vertical Blind Headrail from us we need to know if you are fitting this into a Recess window or on the inner wall. If you are fitting into a recess, measure the width inside from left to the right. We usually make a deduction on this for you so you have nothing to worry about. You then on the ordering part indicate to us if you require your cords and chain to be placed on the right side or left side. Bunching is meant by drawing your blinds all to the right, or left, or you may wish a centre split as shown in the diagram on our Vertical Blind Headrail page. If you are unsure of anything please contact us.
Which Payments do You Accept?
We use Paypal as our payment provider on our website for all Made to measure Items plus vertical
Blinds Parts. Paypal is a very secure payment website which allows customers to make purchases
without having to reveal their card details.
We receive a confirmation email of your payment through Paypal but at no stage do we see your credit/debit card payment details. You do not have to have a Paypal account, neither do you have to register with them, in order to make a payment in which case you simply select the option "Pay with your debit or credit card" as a PayPal guest.
We also accept Personal Cheques and Bank Transfers. Please ask us for our Banking Details if you wish to pay for your order by Bank Transfer. (If paying by Cheque please allow 3 working days for Bank clearance).
Delivery Time
Usually within five working days for Vertical Blind Spares and for all Made to Measure Items 5-10
working days.
Do I pay for Delivery?

What are the Delivery Charges for Made to Measure Items?
Delivery to any UK Mainland address's for made to measure Vertical Blind Slats and / or Vertical Blind Headrail incurs our standard delivery charge of £16.00 using Parcel Force or City Link Carriers ( insured )
European Orders do incur an extra carrier charge on Made to Measure items as above, please ask us for a quote prior to purchasing online.
How are Blind Parts Delivered?
With orders for any Vertical Blind Spares these are generally sent via the Post Office with proof of
posting (although we do send them by DHL carriers if the parcel is a large/heavy order).
How are Made to Measure Items Delivered?
Vertical Blind Slats and Vertical Blind Headrails are despatched by carriers we use such as;
DX, DPD, Tuffnells, or Parcelforce.
They will deliver to your door and take a photo of delivery as confirmation. If you are out they will normally leave a card instructing you to contact your local depot with the telephone number for you to re-appoint your delivery. Often they can leave a parcel with a neighbour.
When receiving your parcel please sign for the parcel as “UNCHECKED” this will allow us to claim from the carriers for any damage that you might later find. If you just sign for the parcel and do not write “UNCHECKED” you are accepting that it has arrived in good condition and we cannot be held responsible for any damages discovered later.

VERTICAL BLIND SPARES DAMAGES & RETURNS
We will replace any Blind Parts received by the customer in a damaged condition, any damages should
be reported to us within 5 days of receipt of the goods. We will accept returns within 7 working days of receipt of goods.
PLEASE NOTE: The buyer is responsible for the return postage. The buyer should notify us by email that they are returning the goods.
MADE TO MEASURE ITEMS DAMAGED
We will replace any Made to Measure items received by the customer in a DAMAGED condition, any
damages should be reported to us by email within 3 days of receiving the goods.
RETURNS
For items that have been specifically made to measure to the customer's specifications we cannot accept responsibility for items that do not fit due to incorrect information you have given to us when ordering, or for any subsequent change of mind by the customer and refunds will not be given (however please contact us as we will always try our best to help put things right at minimal cost). Or if any doubt before ordering please telephone us or email us for help in measuring.
